Why I Chose BWRT — And Why I’m Bringing Level 1 to Copenhagen in 2026
Do you ever feel that the conscious work you are doing with your clients doesn’t really stick?
You offer powerful reframes.
You guide clients through meaningful hypnotherapy sessions.
You use somatic approaches they genuinely enjoy.
And yet…
They feel better for a while.
Then life happens.
Stress returns.
Old patterns resurface.
The same struggles come back.
Sometimes they return.
Sometimes they don’t — because they’ve quietly lost hope that lasting change is possible.
For a long time, this was my reality as a practitioner too.
When “Good Work” Wasn’t Enough
When I opened my private practice, I was deeply motivated to support parents through some of the most vulnerable phases of life — from conception and birth to postpartum and beyond.
I listened carefully.
I helped clients understand their patterns.
I offered emotional support and coping strategies.
But too often, it wasn’t enough.
Relief came.
Change didn’t always last.
And I knew there had to be a better way.
When you work with parents, time is not on your side.
Every day a parent remains depressed weakens connection.
Every prolonged withdrawal risks attachment ruptures.
Every angry reaction is a missed opportunity for co-regulation.
Parents don’t come to therapy to “process forever.”
They come because their children need them now.
That’s when I found BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT).
And everything changed.
Why BWRT Works Differently
BWRT works directly with the part of the brain responsible for automatic threat responses — fight, flight, freeze, and shutdown.
Instead of analysing stories or revisiting painful experiences, BWRT:
- Interrupts unhelpful neurological patterns
- Regulates the nervous system
- Resets emotional responses
- Creates lasting behavioural change
All without retraumatisation.
In my practice, I began seeing consistent, sustainable results.
Anxiety eased.
Phobias resolved.
Trauma released safely.
Parental rage softened.
Postpartum depression lifted.
Confidence grew.
Sleep improved.
Clients didn’t just feel better.
They changed.
And they stayed changed.
A Clear Pathway for Practitioners
BWRT gives practitioners a clear, structured pathway to work with:
- Anxiety and stress
- Phobias and fears
- Trauma and shock
- Anger and emotional dysregulation
- Insomnia
- Addictive and unwanted habits
- Confidence and performance issues
- Relationship and workplace challenges
It aligns with modern therapeutic approaches that emphasise:
- Outcome-focused work
- Client-centred care
- Time-efficient interventions
- Trauma-aware practice
For me, it transformed not only client outcomes — but also my professional confidence and satisfaction.
